How the MTK Stairclimber works

This stair climber uses a lifting arm to lift the whole stairclimber and secured load off the floor and in a circular movement and places it neatly on the next step. The operator then just has to roll the climber to the back of the next step ready for the climber to lift again. This allows the MTK to support much heavier loads than the SAL climber.

Here we see the stairclimber lifting a crate of tools easily up a flight of stairs. You can see how the lifting arm takes the weight of the load and all the operator is doing is guiding and balancing the climber and the load.

Going down, the 310B has brakes that sense the edge of the step to stop you from pushing the load too far.
